About Richard Feldman

While an undergraduate at MIT in 1983, Rich researched the future of niche advertiser supported cable networks.  During his time at the Sloan School, Rich was a Research Assistant in the Media Lab.  He developed an interactive forecasting model for new communications technologies including HDTV.  Rich earned BS and MS degrees from MIT.

He spent five years at NBC in research, first as Director of New Media Research for the Network and later as the first Director of Research for NBC Cable.

The past 13 years have been spent on the supplier side, as Senior VP/GM of Norman Hecht Research and VP of ASI Entertainment, and now at Feldman Research Lab. 

He founded the Lab in 2001 and serves as its President.  In that time we�ve helped improve programs from SportsCenter to The Queer Eye For The Straight Guy, and worked on issues ranging from customer retention to developing long-term strategies for public broadcasting.
